Joan Hetzler has been a freelance writer and editor for over twenty-five years. She has written training manuals for the computer and healthcare industries as well as marketing materials.  She also had the fun of serving as a part-time regional reporter in rural Northwest Georgia travelling its beautiful valleys and mountains.

Her creative writing experience includes plays, poems, short stories, humor, memoir, and a mystery novel.  She has won awards in all of the creative formats just mentioned with the most recent as a finalist in a playwriting competition with her comedy one act play, "The Bridge Party." 

For eight years, she produced and hosted The Writers Show, a radio program devoted to writers and their readers, at a local college station in Tennessee.  Currently, she is developing a series of cozy mystery novels set in Atlanta, Georgia.
